Lake Forest is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Lake Forest follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The food I received doesn't match what I ordered not in taste, presentation, or authenticity. I requested spice level 3, but it was unbearably spicy. I'm usually very tolerant of spice, but I literally couldn't feel my tongue. It tasted like soy sauce and chili powder. Honestly, disappointing. One dish wasn't even butter chicken. The entire $50 order went to waste because the items were incorrect and overly spicy. After a long wait, we had to order from another restaurant. I've also noticed that the spice levels are inconsistent I always order spicy, but every single time it comes out differently.

I had food twice here, and the first time butter chicken was good, 2nd best in lake forest, 1st being Spencer's mart. The next time i had cottage cheese paneer, it was ridiculously creamy like as if i had to drink cream in a bit of spices, i couldn't finish 5 spoons of it...felt like throwing up. But rice is good texture is good. Naan is tasty.

Absolutely loved this place! The food was authentic, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish had the perfect balance of spices, and the freshness really stood out. We had chole bhature and vada pav, and both were absolutely delicious! The chole bhature was perfectly spiced with fluffy, fresh bhature, and the vada pav had that authentic street-food flavor with a crispy vada and soft pav. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. Great service, friendly staff, and a cozy atmosphere. If you are craving authentic Indian comfort food, this place is definitely worth visiting. Will be coming back again!

Residing within a Comfort Inn and next to a prominent golden arches, Social Aroma is the definition of a hidden gem. The menu presents a variety of Indian classics with a sprinkle of Asian dishes and several clay oven pizzas. The food is served efficiently and fresh, the sounds of cookery from the kitchen jiving along with the ambient Indo-pop music through the speakers. The dishes are plentiful and flavorsome! Our Saag Paneer was served pipping hot with plentiful paneer and vibrant green. Beautifully cooked down spinach and mustard greens. At spice level of "mild", the spice was palpable and warming. The Desi Chicken Curry is dark, fragrant and generous in pieces of chicken thigh, juicy and tender. The spice level of "mild" brings a robust heat to the game but goes down beautifully with the basmati rice and the roti. Seeing me sweat, the staff kindly brought over some yogurt and it was just the thing to add another taste dimension to the curry! Definitely a restaurant to look forward to and a break from the ordinary when staying at one of the many hotel properties in the area!

First visit and we were very impressed. The service was fantastic and the food, especially the modern twist on Indian food, was incredible. The flavors are very fresh, and the atmosphere was great. I'm really looking forward to going back and trying more dishes. This time, we had pizzas, which is very unique at an Indian restaurant. It was like Indian gourmet food on top of robust naan bread. Really fun!
